Pop Up Business School comes to WestQuay
14 Dec 2016
One of the focus areas of the Watermark community plan is to support local enterprise. In partnership with Pop Up Business School and Princes Trust, WestQuay hosted a week long training course and then offered trading opportunities in commercialisation space.
The programme targets individuals unemployed in Southampton or young people looking to start their own business. Training covered marketing, finance and pitching to potential customers.
Hayley Mann, one of the participants who runs a Made in Britain start up said ' The training was inspirational, but the real benefit was being able to trade in WestQuay'
Pop Up Business School has delivered programmes in Oracle (twice), Brent Cross, Cabot, WestQuay and Croydon this year- http://www.popupbusinessschool.co.uk/
